Maintenance Plan Descriptions

*Basic $49 monthly:

  • WordPress, Theme, and Plugin updates
  • PHP updates (when needed)
  • Hosting Service Communications
  • 24-hour turnaround time

Essential $99 monthly:

  • WordPress, Theme, and Plugin updates
  • PHP updates (when needed)
  • Hosting Service Communications
  • 24-hour turnaround time
  • One hour a month for content changes, edits, uploads and updates.

Premium $149 monthly:

  • WordPress, Theme, and Plugin updates
  • PHP updates (when needed)
  • Hosting Service Communications
  • 24-hour turnaround time

*Content changes, edits, uploads, and update requests will be billed at $75 an hour.

 

Maintenance

Monthly (or as needed) updates to WordPress core files, plugins, and theme updates.
Monitoring your website’s functionality to ensure that everything is working as it should and upgrade where necessary.
Plugins Replacement/Recommendation: Some plugins may become outdated and no longer work with the newest version of your website software. Plugins may need upgrading to accommodate the newer version or become obsolete with the improvements in the website software. If necessary, a new plugin will be installed and set up.
This agreement does not include the cost of “premium” plugin purchases or extensive set-up projects (i.e.: a new ecommerce system, extensive design changes, etc.). You will be informed beforehand if additional cost is required.

Contacting website hosting: Contacting the website host is required to provide support. If any issue is believed to be caused by hosting, with permission, Climbbetty, will work with the hosting provider to diagnose and fix any issues.  The owner of the website will share hosting credentials (login/password/pin) with Climbbetty upon the launch of service.

Website Backups

Daily or monthly backups of your site, as detailed in your “Plan Details,” so that it may be fully restored in case of loss.

Updates & PHP

Monitor and update any WordPress, Theme, and Plugins. If needed, will address or edit any affected content, images, layout/display issues caused by the update.  PHP updates may be required from time to time to enable updated plugins or themes. Climbbetty will address the PHP updates with the website’s primary host as needed.

Deadlines & Deliverables

  • If your maintenance plan provides monthly backups, backups will be performed and concluded no later than the 28th of each month.
  • Maintenance will be performed weekly and concluded no later than the 28th of each month.  
  • Conflicts caused by any WordPress, Themes, Plugin Updates will be addressed immediately, and the Client will be advised of the estimated date of resolution if conflicts are not resolved the same day.
  • Reporting will be completed by the 28th of each month and sent with your monthly invoice.
  • With the execution of this agreement, you will be given priority placement on the schedule with the goal of completing your request within 24 hours, if possible. If completion is not possible within 24 hours, we will communicate an estimated resolution timeline as soon as possible.  

One-hour a month of content changes, edits and uploads

If your maintenance plan provides for one-hour of content changes, edits, uploads and updates, the one-hour is per month and does not compound. If you don’t use your one-hour that month, it DOES NOT roll into the next month. The monthly one-hour starts on the 1st of the month and ends on the last day of the month. If the work request goes over one-hour then the additional time will be billed at $75 an hour.  

Payment and Dates

This Website Maintenance Agreement between Climbbetty and the Client will be for a period of 1 year (12 months) and will start when Climbbetty has acknowledged client’s consent to this agreement and website credentials have been received.

The Client will be invoiced for the Climbbetty WordPress Maintenance Plan fee on the first of each month and due upon receipt. If payment is not received within 30 days, an additional $50 will be added to the invoice total.

Payment can be made by credit card or bank funds.

Cancellation

Climbbetty reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time by email notification to the client. The client can terminate this agreement with 30 days’ notice by email to courtney@climbbettycom.wpcomstaging.com

Not Included in this Agreement

The focus of this WordPress Website Maintenance and Backup plan is to audit your website to make sure your WordPress software, Theme, and Plugins are all up to date, secure, and provided by safe and reputable developers, followed by regular maintenance and backups (if applicable), so that your website runs smooth, safe and secure. 

Your WordPress Website Maintenance and Backup plan DOES NOT include:

  • Conflict resolution, repairs, migrations, and installing a new website from your backup due to errors or crashes directly to your website caused by clients, malicious malware, viruses, hackers, any third party not included in this agreement.
  • Enhancements / Additional Services:
    Any revisions, additions, or redesign requested by the client for Climbbetty to perform that is not specified in this agreement shall be considered “Enhancements / Additional Services” and will require a separate agreement and payment. Climbbetty shall advise Client on any requested work that falls within these bounds.

Enhancements may include:

  • New or redesign of website pages or posts, extensive content updates, new or changes to web graphics.
  • New plugin installation and configuration.
  • Any extensive changes or updates to the website’s theme code, plugins, or hosting required to improve the functionality, speed, stability, or security of the website. 

Third Party or Client Website Modifications

During the duration of this contract, Client agrees that Climbbetty will be the sole provider of maintenance services for the website, and no other party will have access to or rights to change the website. If a party other than Climbbetty makes changes to the website, any errors or conflicts created that must be repaired by Climbbetty will be charged at the current hourly rate specified above. 

Limitations of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties

Although there are limitations to the guarantees Climbbetty can provide, your satisfaction is very important. Please read and understand the limits of liability before subscribing to this service.

Although Climbbetty strives for your website’s optimal performance and security, Climbbetty did not build the WordPress software or plugins used on the website, nor are they supplying the hosting platform it runs on.

For this reason, Climbbetty does not represent, guarantee or warrant that the functions contained in these webpages or internet websites will be uninterrupted, error-free, free from loss, corruption, attack, viruses, interference, hacking, or other security intrusions, and Climbbetty disclaims any liability relating thereto.

To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event will Climbbetty be liable to the client or any third party for any damages, including, but not limited to, any lost profits, lost savings, loss of data, business interruption, or incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate these webpages or website, however, caused, even if Climbbetty has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

By submitting my name, company name, website address and email address below, I am consenting that I have carefully and thoroughly read the terms and conditions above and I agree to all the terms and conditions and hold Climbbetty and any of the individuals representing Climbbetty personally and legally blameless for any costs due to damage, breakage, crashes, malware attacks, virus attacks, hacker attacks or any other damage or breakage of my website not explicitly caused by the services conducted above.
